Constitution, Bylaws, and Board of Directors

  1. The Constitution shall establish the basic principles and purposes of the
    Association. The Bylaws shall provide for the administration and operation of the Association.
  2. The Board of Directors shall establish and execute the implementation of the goal and objectives for which the Association was formed (a Click here to go to a new page 4 with CABA’s goal and objectives).
  3. The Board shall have the power to appoint a Coordinating Scientific Director
    and supporting staff. The Scientific Coordinating Director shall be in charge of coordinating and assisting in the execution of the purposes of the Board of Directors.

Reports and Resolutions

Reports and resolutions will be submitted for consideration at each meeting of the Board of Directors. The reports and resolutions will be generated by members of the Association, the Scientific Coordinating Director, the members of the Board of Directors, the research institution that is supporter of the Association, and the Association’s sponsors. The actions that the Board takes on the reports and resolutions establish an Association action.

Resolutions of the Board of Directors can be adopted between meetings due to the fact that no applicable action exists or due to urgent situations. Any such actions by the Board must be placed before the parties members of the Association.
